The RX2 series incremental readheads are equipped with advanced optical zero position sensors, which can provide higher repeatability. The zero position detection of the readhead is not affected by magnetic fields and is more stable.

The RX2 series readheads are equipped with zero position selection sensors, which can select the origin on the RXS scale through the zero position selection magnet.

The RX2 series readheads are equipped with dual limit sensors.

The RX2 series readheads use LAMOTION's most advanced single-field scanning technology with zero point, advanced automatic gain, and automatic deviation correction technology, with low electronic subdivision error and strong anti-pollution performance.

The RX2 grating scale readhead is compatible with LAMOTION's advanced RXS series steel tape scales, Pi20 incremental circular gratings, RXS-127 series steel tape scales, and RXT series ultra-thin steel tape scales

The RX2 reading head calibration process involves the following steps:

1. Before installation, power on the reading head, at this time the red light on the head will flash.

2. Use an M3 screw to mount the reading head away from the optical zero position.

3. Adjust the position of the reading head so that the green light on the head flashes.

4. Power off, and then power on the reading head away from the optical zero position, causing the blue light on the head to flash.

5. After the blue light flashes for 5 seconds, move the axis so that the reading head completely passes through the optical zero position in both the positive and negative directions.

For a single zero position reading head, it is sufficient to pass through the zero position in both the positive and negative directions. For a zero position selection reading head, it is necessary to pass through the zero position with a zero selection magnet.

After the reading head passes through the optical zero position in both the positive and negative directions, the reading head indicator light will change to: blue light stays on.

At this point, the reading head calibration is complete, and the reading head will automatically save the calibration parameters.
