‌2. Install grating ruler ‌ :

The platform parallelism of the grating ruler should be within 0.1mm/1000mm, and then paste the grating ruler on the platform to ensure that it is firm.

3‌, install reading head ‌ :

After ensuring that the base surface of the reading head meets the installation requirements, adjust the position of the reading head to ensure that the parallelism between the reading head and the grating ruler is within 0.1mm, the gap between the reading head and the grating ruler is controlled within 1~ 1.5mm, and adjust the signal light of the reading head to dark blue, at this time it is a perfect signal.

‌4. Install the limiting device ‌ :

A limit device is installed on the guide rail of the machine to prevent the collision between the reading head and the two ends of the grating ruler when the machine moves, thus damaging the reading head.

Adjusting method of metal grating

‌1. Check parallelism ‌ :

Select a reference position on the machine, move the working point forward and backward to the selected position, and the reading of the digital display meter should be the same.

‌2. Maintenance of grating ruler ‌ :

The metal grating consists of two parts: a reading head and a grating ruler. The grating ruler is pasted on the fixed parts of the machine tool or the platform base surface, and the reading head is mounted on the moving parts of the machine tool. Regularly check and clean the grating ruler, check that the signal light of the reading head is normal, and ensure that it is working properly.
